If you have a pet, you know how important this furry little being is to your life — AND how they are totally dependent upon the good nature of a human to take the best care of them possible. But all too often, animals make their way to animal shelters for all sorts of reasons and they are at the mercy of the shelter to find them a new family to rescue and adopt them.

  • Approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year (3.3 million dogs and 3.2 million cats).

  • Each year, approximately 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized.

  • Approximately 3.2 million shelter animals are adopted each year (1.6 million dogs and 1.6 million cats).

  • About 710,000 animals who enter shelters as strays are returned to their owners.

Start a conversation about your commitment to animal rescue and help shelters accommodate an overwhelming population of homeless and at-risk animals.

We will donate 12% of the proceeds from our Animal Rescue case to support a charity doing its best for animal rescue.

How Rhondo Rescued Monika & Tom

"We were looking for a dog for months, but didn't find the right fit. Our son (who was the driving force behind the effort) wanted a bull dog, but we were open to any breed as long as the dog was friendly with children. One day I spoke to our daughter on the phone and she said "you don't find the dog, the dog finds you." At first I didn't know what to do with that statement, but then one afternoon we went Christmas shopping and on our way back, we passed the Humane Society. 'Why don't we stop in?' Tom suggested.

When we entered the dog kennel, there was Rhondo. He was looking at us, jumping up, and clearly trying to get our attention. The rest is history. We took him home the next day and never looked back. People told us that adopted animals are grateful and they are — but they rescue us as much as we rescue them."
